Electric seats

I recently fitted electric seats and from memory, if you remove the seat from the car you can access all the motors from underneath.
At least you can get a multimeter over the motors and see where the fault lies?
If you are going to remove the seats its fairly simple to unbolt, but remember to disconnect the battery for 30 mins to not trigger any airbag warnings?

Thanks for that I have now had the seat out but was struggling to take the drive gears out as I have tested the motor and that is ok it’s the nylon gears that have gone and I need to replace them but don’t know where I can obtain these items!!
Any ideas?

If it were me I'd look for a donor seat on eBay- I needed a few bits and found plenty available on there and on here-
try realOEM too- may help if you need to go to dealers for parts too:
