Post by goody » Sun Mar 29, 2020 3:33 pm

Hello, my car locks from the key bothdoors but the driver door wont unlock from the key or when in the car using the button in front of the handbrake. Im guessing its the actuator or that gm5 module and have plugged in the scanner and have three codes 27(039) locking system relay locking drivers door drivers door contact for opening has opencircuit. 24(036) central locking relay contact for opening has open circuit
20(032) internal fault at body module V processor watchdog.
anyo ne had these before? cheers Steve.

Thanks, I was thinking that but wondered as it is only the one door that won't unlock it might be the actuator.

Relays are classic of the symptoms you have, they are only small relays and the contacts corrode and short out. Did mine a few months ago and it’s fine now.

Ok thanks I'll check them out first. I can solder but getting the old ones off the board looks the trickiest part.

You’ll need a good soldering iron and solder sucker and some flux.
