Hello All. My passenger side mirror (US) isn’t working and I tried to make sense of the wiring diagram in the TIS manual. Yeh right. Anyway, I have three wires to the motor. Red, brown, green. Red gets power when I push the switch up but no other time. However, the motor doesn’t work despite power to the motor. So, I know the motor is bad.
Questions: I assume I should get power on the red wire when I press the switch in any direction. Can someone confirm? What are the green and brown wires? I assume negative and ground but I’m not 100% sure.
Thanks again. I attached a picture of the plug for clarification.

My mirrors do not fold. The wiring harness could be “generic” to accommodate foldiNg mirrors though.

Update... new motor... nothing. Found a switch at a salvage yard. Trying that tomorrow.
