Hi all.
The roof trim on the driver side of my car has dropped down, to the point it now sits lower than the top of the windows.
It looks as though there is a white clip with a split in it, which sits in a little cup - Appears to be a substance of some sort in the white clip.
Have tried pushing it back in but can't get it to clip back in - I'm assuming there is supposed to be something that makes it clip in?
Photos attached - Any help appreciated

Broken roof trim
I think most z4 tops have that trim broken by now...it gets brittle. Mine is drooping on the driver side. Every time I see mine, I tell myself that I would fix it one day..problem is it’s not easy to remove that plastic trim....a lot of screws to remove and breaking the plastic trim itself is not difficult to do. Maybe somebody here has a quick and easy fix?
