Hi Guys,
My Airbag warning light came on a couple of days ago whilst i was driving and after reading the error codes on Carly i tried clearing them thinking they may have been spurious/intermittent. This seemed to work but the light came back on the next day. These are the codes drivers airbag 1st stage 0093A8 and also i strangely have error code 16 steering torque 00611C but steering appears to be working fine (could they be connected in some way). I have checked the battery connections and the plug under the seats but i dont think its anything to do with the well known seat occupancy problem. I just wondered if any members had any knowledge/experience of these codes.

Airbag Warning Light Error code 93a8?
I’m pretty sure I had this fault code. I disconnected the battery, removed the steering wheel and the slip ring, then just gave all the parts a clean. Give the connections a squirt of electrical cleaner then reassemble. Cleared the faults once it was back together and they haven’t come back
