I need to remove the aerial to fit my new cover but it won’t budge. It’s probably been 5 years since I have had it off and it is refusing to budge. Pretty sure it just used to screw off. I have tried WD 40 with a wrench without success, I didn’t want to force it in case I ended up with a bigger, so any suggestions as to how to remove it would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mark

When removing the wippy on my last zed it was well and truly stuck on. I used my pump pliers and worked a treat. I say just give it another go or just cut a hole in your cover

WD 40 is a water displacement product (WD) and not much good as a penetrating oil. Try a proper penetrating oil.

My fitted cover had a specific appendage for the aerial.
Would it not be easier to cut a small hole in the cover and put the aerial through it? Maybe even add your own 'aerial condom'?
