Roof motor in the boot

Post by mark1882 » Wed Feb 20, 2019 12:50 am

Hi
This is my first post on the forum which I have found to be an invaluable source of information.
I need to replace my roof motor, only had a new one fitted in Dec 2016, so you can imagine, that I am not amused at spending another circa £700. I have come across comments on the forum where people have had the motor relocated to the boat, can anyone point me in the direction of anyone or company that do this.
Thanks
Mark

There are several members on here that could resurrect your motor and relocate it to the boot for sensible money - post up your location so we can see who's closest

Hi
Thanks for a quick response
I am in Portugal at the moment so ( I know it’s a big ask) but if by some miracle there is someone in Portugal that would be best, preferably southern Portugal, otherwise any one in the south of the UK or north midlands, Lincolnshire.
Thanks
Mark

Does it rain in Portugal ??
There is plenty of advice on here about moving the motor, why not do it yourself if there is no one in Portugal.
Anyway, get to the newbie section and add some photos of your car

Hi and welcome by the way.

We do like to see photos on here.

Anyway I'm pretty sure there is a thread on the "How To" section of the forum explaining how to move the roof motor if you want to give it a try yourself. The only people I can think of on here who do it are in the UK!
Coupes because stunning!

I'll give your thread a bump, so you might get the answer you need.
Yes, there are a couple of people in the South/Midlands who can do this for you (just not too sure what the names are - think one might be Bowser)
Good luck
