Internal storage compartments - Not unlocking?
Central locking seems to be working fine so the above should be open but are not. The owners handbook suggests pulling the manual cord from inside the boot which I've done and nothing is happening. I think if I pull any harder it will snap. Anyone had this issue and have a resolution? Thanks in advance.

I'm currently working on the same problem.
Tested the lock actuator ok, seems to be the GM5 module not powering the actuator.
Is now waiting for new relays for the GM5, will see if that solves that problem and my intermittently working passenger door lock. Seems to be a fairly common problem for E85/E46.
Might point you in the right direction
