no lights on, just terrible handling. garage (alignment and mot centre) said its perfect and offered me a job when I first took it in after doing the work. it just inspires no confidence when driven on rough roads. Im going to strip the rear end and drivetrain soon anyway so ill def try the adjustment on the column once its all done and realigned.
What happened to you?
E86 3.0Si in midnight blue, stubby and csl reps only mods. Currently rebuilding all suspension and drivetrain.

I think you’ve done everything I did to my old 3.0 in one go... tyres, all bushes, drop links, suspension, tie rod ends, geo, then my old 3.0 was awesome, though still suffered a little tramlining & for that u need to go M hydronic steering ... & then your wallet journey will begin again

Hi again, the early zeds have a steering coloum fault its the torgue sensor, and tried breaker part for £500 but also failed so ended up paying another £1500 for a referb part on lifetime guarantee but fit my self to save ££££££. But it starts with eps light coming on and a complete power steering fail, u will know if it happens but fingers xd 4u

Z4 Coupe Steering Issues
Unfortunately this seems to be quite common.
See viewtopic.php?f=3&t=100725&start=180
I would also say worn bushes and the runflats are the first things to check.
Also make sure the tyre pressures are correct. Mine were over inflated and dropping the pressures to the correct psi helped massively (but hasn't completely cured it)
I also have a broken rear spring which might not be helping.
When you have sorted everything that needs replacing, get a 4 wheel alignment
