Hi all,
I have quite a bit of play in my steering wheel and side to side movement in my front wheels. The car has new inner and outer track rods, droplinks, ARB bushes, and relatively new wishbone and bushes. There seems to be no play in the suspension components.
Any one any idea what this could be? I have read about the fix for the twitchy steering could this be the cause?
I did get this advisory last year "Play in steering rack inner joint(s)"
Any ideas would be great! Thanks guys!

Steering Play - Some Help Needed
Sounds like it might be due to play in steering rack inner joints.
Maybe start your investigations there.

That looks like it, but first check the bolts havent worked loose and simply need tightening. MOT testers always check for this and tell me its not uncommon for the crimping bolts to loosen

Hi Mike, Is it the torx bolts shown in the diagram that you are talking about?

Yes, its the two bolts numbered '3'. They can work loose a bit and then you get play.
