Reinhold module

Fitted a Reinhold roof module tonight but the roof won't operate. I followed the installation instructions exactly how it said but can't get the roof to operate. Decided to remove the module in case it was faulty and now my roof won't even operate manually now. Has anyone had this kind of issue with theirs and what was the solution? Pulling my hair out here 🤬

Did you solder the connections? Major issue is using scotchlock type connectors
Check fuses as my second thought is you selected the wrong wire and have now blown the fuse. Thinking back years when I fitted mine there were 2 identical wires I’m tje connector

Presume the module was new. Had mine around ten years and been faultless.

When I re fitted to my current zed I used posi twist connectors as they are much better than scotchlock. Either that or solder as suggested by cj.

Connections were soldered and I checked the 3 roof fuses but were ok. Module was second hand. When I pressed the fob 3 times I could hear the module activating and the light would come on at the switch but the roof just wouldn't operate.

Always remember to put the parcel shelf back down after you've changed your rear shocks 🤨 I'm now going to punch myself on the side of the head until I go to sleep.
