When starting the car up the car indicates a bulb fault. The right front indicator stays on for a few seconds and the warning goes when the indicator goes off.
It only happens when the main beam is on.
Is that a sign?

Bulb warning.
Hi Beerman, that normally means the nearest bulb to the indicator which lights up is failing. I would suggest it is the sidelight, they are quite a faff to change but more importantly make sure that you seal the headlight properly or you could end up with a condensation problem. especially now winter is on its way.

Bulb warning.
Bummer. I didn't want even more jobs to do on day 2.
Hopefully it's not a xenon bulb. I done them on my old E92 335i and it was a pain in the backside for such a simple requirement.
It does only raise the warning when headlights are on auto and it wants to turn the headlights on. The colour of the bulbs looked ok.
