Thanks for all your help, I see on a Z4 its easier to change than a 330, hopefully will save me 400 quid
Just be careful the jubilee clips are replaced in the correct orientation or you will struggle to tighten them again

Hi, I replaced the boot, all seems to be connected well, but yellow engine light still on, do I need to reset the light somehow, or should it just turn off if that has fixed the problem?

Thanks!

Sadly I think you'll need to find someone who can clear codes to get it turned off.

I managed to find a local forum member to do mine.

Yeah after talking to you guys it seems a bit of a rip off, they are good at diagnosing faults though, gave me a nice little to-do list

Haven't used a v2.1 but my v1.5 (wifi) cleared my EML related codes.

Thanks for the info. Did you need to rescan it, or can you just do a reset straight away with this?

You just run the appropriate app, do a scan for codes and you have option of clearing any codes found. Each app has a different menu so you would have to figure it out.
