5df0 ABS pump advice required!

Post by JakubJames » Sun Sep 09, 2018 2:00 pm

    Guys and girls,

    I NEED HELP!

My DSC, ABS and handbrake light all came on on my dashboard a few months back. When I ran my diagnostics it shows the code 5dfo which is the abs hydraulic pump motor. This tells me the issue is just with the motor rather than the actual ABS ECU.

Problem is I can't find a replacement ABS pump anywhere. The part code is 3451676916203.

My Z4 is off the road until I can sort this and get it back on so can someone please advise me of where I can get a replacement pump or somebody that can refurbish mine.

I've spoken to ECUtesting in Derbyshire but I get the impression they can only fix the ECU part of the ABS module.

I'm pulling my hair out here PLEASE HELP

There's lots of z4 ones on ebay. Possibly not your specific model.

If its the just the pump it could be the brushes in the motor needing a tap to free them up.

Mines currently at ECUtesting, fingers crossed they can fix it. :x

Yep, ecu testing can sort that out for you no problem at all.
