Please Help 2006 3.0si
Threw EML code P16C0 today. Research says “control module self-test, Driving Dynamics Control Switch Monitoring”. Can someone please explain if this is a serious issue or not? I have to drive 4 hours back home to family tomorrow and nowhere is open today (4th of July). Sport button not working as well (does not turn on). Other than that seems to drive fine.

Sadly I can't answer your question, but if the EML is amber I don't see why you couldn't drive it - a red EML is a different matter!
Coupes because stunning!

Yeah. Saw that one before I made the post as part of my research and came to the conclusion that it does not have nearly enough information.

It is amber. Only thing so far is that the sport button won’t turn on. However I have had some electrical issues recently. (One taillight is out even with new bulbs, occasionally loss of one turn signal, and driver side headlight halo is out). I have no idea if that’s related or not. Thank you for your reply though

Just a thought, but how old is your battery? They do seem prone to having random electrical issues when it's getting tired.

I believe two years old. I also tried a battery reset this afternoon (negative disconnected for 10 mins) and got no change. The vehicle drives and seems safe for now, so I guess I’ll just have to deal until I can get it into a shop. Thank you for your responses.
