Finally got around to addressing the zeds current inability to provide drum n bass, or any form of choons for that matter.
Cant seem to free the plug from the amp however to inspect the amp further. Any ideas?
Looks like moisture ingress has occurred at some point going by the state of the amps lower edge screws and the discoloured sh!te in the batt/amp compartment.
Giz a clue....

Carver amp plug removal. How?
Hi, will the lever going over the plug in the bottom pic not just fold down after depressing the catch on the top of the plug?

Carver amp plug removal. How?
Hah, got the bugger eventually. Yes it was a retaining bar/clip that rotates to free the plug.
Thx guys
Now onto the interesting bit- deconstruction and disassembly of the amp.
If it's buggered I might be tempted to build a new one.... Perhaps going down the tube amp route.... :0
Watch this space.....
Btw, hows everyone doing here? Havent been around for a while. Whats the word on the street? Any births, marriages and dare I ask... gulp... deaths? Has monkeyman finished his turbo build yet?
I had a rather hastily arranged soiree down to Le Mans for the 24hrs race t'other weekend. Was tip top. Anyone else go?
One horse race in LMP1 mind you.
Thx guys

As an external investor to mm's little project i shall be seeking an interim progress update
So the amp is taken apart. Looking predictably like the well known water damage issue. That thermocouple is rustier than one of the titanics rivets!
