It's worth freeing off the bypass with a bit of WD40 while you're messing with it. Three small allen-headed bolts to remove the plastic housing then give the brass valve a few pushes in and out while doused in WD40. The fluid looks a smidge low. Go grab a small bottle of hydraulic jack oil from Halfords for a fiver and pour/syringe some in.Not joined yet?
