Convertible Top Fitment Issue

Post by LortonAuto2 » Tue Jun 12, 2018 1:14 pm

I installed a new top into a 2007 BMW Z4, due to the motor failing as well as the metal lines rusted all the way through to the point they were leaking hydraulic fluid and everything works great....other than the fact that when closing the top, the top of the rear windshield comes into contact with the Plastic Rear Deflector that is directly behind the 2 headrests. Has anybody run into this issue before? My next step would probably be replacing that plastic Rear Deflector, but just wanted a little bit of input before doing so.
