is there anyway to relocate roof motor without removing roof , seems a little excessive to totally remove roof to relocate pump to the boot..
my roof is getting slow to close but opens fine.
ive read so many threads about flooded motors causing issues, so id like to move it..
ive been quite fastidious about keeping drains uncloged to avoid this issue, though only owning the car for 2 years, I cannot say for sure the previous owners did the same..
2006 model .
cheers

No need to remove the roof. There are a number of people on here who can help. Choice comes down to how far you'd want to travel.

OP, put up your location and someone will post the nearest person to you that can help.
Loads on here, including me, have had the motor relocated. Sensible mod for very little outlay and all done without the roof coming off.

Hi Cazroline, it looks like Bowser134 in in Hampshire so the nearest to you:- viewtopic.php?f=3&t=105396&p=1538532&hi ... r#p1538532
But I'm not sure you can use PMs with only 3 posts - I think you might need to have 5 to use that so you might want to make a couple of posts (maybe on the Newbie section) then you can send him a PM.
Oh well, Rob beat me to it!

OP, it sounds like you may be planning to do this yourself, in which case this may be useful:- viewtopic.php?f=34&t=85266
But if not, just post the area you are in and someone will know who does then in your part of the world.
