Does this look dead to anyone? Car hasn't been anywhere near water.

If they're originals they will all probably be well past their best! Suspension refresh time

Probably original. The motor does ride horribly at the moment. Like it's on hydraulics.

When I took mine off they were junk, no leaks but you could compress by hand and there wasn't much rebound.

+1  I recently fitted 4 new Bilstein B4s on my '03/72,000m Zed. The original Sachs were goosed. The 2 rears had more air in than oil, the nsf was weeping oil as in your photo and about 30% functional and the osf was about 60% functional. Also changed my top mounts, lollipops and rtab's etc. It is now literally like driving a new car !

Dead shock?

I'm fairly certain this shock popped on a broken speed bump. There is one on my road that has the left corner missing. I recall crashing over it a few weeks back and this problem has gotten progressively worse.
Anyone ever made a claim against the council for anything like this? Getting fed up with chucking money at this car.
And the council for that matter. Some Ginger royal is getting married down the road from me on Saturday and the w*****s have resurfaced every road around on the route for his photo parade and neglected all the ones that actually mattered.
I mean they even closed off the roads every evening for this crap to build this thing... for like a 10 min crawl from the castle.
