Hi, it’s affecting both banks so I’d check out the rubber elbow on the inlet ducting-it’s a common area to split and cause weak running.

Hi rob,
Thanks for quick reply. I have just done rocker cover gasket and renewed all ccv pipework so had inlet manifold off and all rubber boots looked good. I was loosing oil plus getting this code so a few said it could be sucking in air where it's loosing the oil so I decided to do the above. I Put it all back together again today took it for little run then a blast up bypass, all seemed fine even upto the dreaded 5.5k and over. An hour later came back down same bypass put foot down then same issue over 5k again, gutted thought I sorted it

Just thinking now, could it be coilpacks or injectors?

Did you check the small rubber spur that’s on the inlet pipe? I don’t think coil pack problems would give a lean code

Yeah its all good. i was thinking of replacing the boot when i had it off but when I checked it was in excellent condition with no signs of wear or deterioration so didn't bother.

I suggest using DIS or INPA to read the codes if you can. That should give you more information, for example which sensor is reporting a fault specifically, rather then the standard ISO trouble codes.
Your issue is seemingly identical to my recent issue, which when read pointed me to replace the MAF.

Yes, in my case it’s did. Here’s the thread if you’re interested - viewtopic.php?f=3&t=102520
