Have continuity at the relay I replaced .

That could simply be the car detecting an open circuit and shutting it down, I assume the other half of that connector goes to the pump, in which case apply 12v and see if it runs.

Ducklakeview,

I wired the appropriate connections on the pump to positive and negative on my battery and got no change . Will try it again tomorrow and try get a better connection to the pump .

Sorry to revive an old post, but THANK YOU... everywhere said the trunk... I had a suspicion the relay was behind the fuse box. So my 04 Z4 3.0 does not have an actual EKPS?, just a relay? Cause my scanner is saying no comms to the EKPS, unit...(I will create a post about why I was looking for it)

And is it just the bottom 2 screws to remove the fuse box, or are there more above it where the passengers air bag is?
