Transmission problem dash light on

Hi. Need help for my nephew. His tranny light has come on. It's a 2.o facelift on an 07. Any ideas ? Thanks. It's also a manual

The light is orange if that makes a difference

He's looked in many at and it says transmission

Ok. It says auto transmission system in his book but he has a 6 speed manual. Any ideas ?

The defective globe light is also not entirely dissimilar to the transmission symbol.

Ok confusion sorted. I've been and looked and it's the bulb light. He said it didn't come on last time a bulb was out. He was also looking under another model in his book and got confused with tranny light. Thanks everyone.

Phew. A transmission light on manual car would certainly have been unusual!
