Any wheel experts?

Post by diydel » Sun Mar 11, 2018 3:38 pm

Hi

Decided to try and refurb my 108's, starting with fronts. 1st one split fine with no issues, the second one, one bolt snapped. However on closer inspection prior to attempting to drill it out, the hole had been filled with some sort of glue/filler. On drilling this out I have gone through the wheel and caused a leak/puncture, would it be safe to reseal this and if so what with ?
Failing that anyone have a surplus front 108?
Thanks in advance

Find someone in your area who does aluminium welding and get them to put a few spots of weld where you have drilled thru.
