Welcome to the forum.
Hi, you must be missing either sparks or fuel to have a non running engine-try taking a plug out but reconnecting the coil and cranking to see if it’s sparking.
If it is, check for fuel

What's the battery output? It may be that yes it's charged but battery is on the way out and it's not putting enough into the starting system. Is it slow to turn over?

Morning buddy

Would be handy at this stage to get the codes read and see what the car is saying. Post on here to ask if anyone has a code reader and are near to you. Lot of very helpful people on here.

Fuel pump fuses / relay got to be next on the list. It's fuse no. 19 & 33....

https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=38888

Then the fuel pump relay is K6301...

Try using the other key to see if it will start. The key battery is charged by the car and it may not be have enough charge to register with the security system

+1

Try disconnecting the air intake, and have someone spray a little WD40 into it as you crank, IF the engine fires, then you know you have a spark. HOW have you checked the fuel rail pressure? There is a test nipple on it for a gauge on 6 cyl cars, not sure about the 4's.
