Hi,
I'm hoping someones had a similar problem and know's the fix. My Sat Nav module has gone dead. It won't fire up and the tilt and open close refuse to work.
Is there a fuse for it? Or am I going to have to "reset" the car and hope it fires up into life?
Cheers for any info

You might want to check the connection to the screen.
More than likely though is a problem with the stepper motor, which is why the screen won’t open. Without this the screen won’t work even if manually opened.

Sorry, I should have made a better explanation.
The screen is open but won't display anything.
So it's in the up position but is blank and doesn't respond to the open close button or tilt.
Any ideas?

If your battery is a fair few years old chuck a new one on and see if it makes any difference before you chuck money at the actual satnav/screen.

What happens when you turn the ignition off?
If nothing I would check the connection

Nothing happens on turning the ignition off, I was looking at the fuse sheet and F49 is for satnav /tv hopefully it's just the fuse. I'll let you know later tonight

Joy, finally got around to checking fuse 49 and it's blown. the bad news is it keeps blowing every time I replace it.
I'll try "resetting" the car at the weekend and see if I can replace the fuse while the battery is disconnected.
