Hi guys, trying to fit an Aux cable to my new ‘06 2.5si. Got air vent and stereo out ok, plugged in lead I got off eBay no problem but there is no Aux option when pressing the mode button. Stereo is standard figment BMW BUSINESS CD.....any help ot pointers appreciated!

Have you tried plugging a phone etc to the other end and then pressing the Mode button ...and it should come up with Aux ...did mine 2 weeks ago .

some of the cheap ebay aux cables dont have the correct resistor in unfortunately...try a fruity car cables aux in as they are a known working product
if its got tits or tyres..its trouble :D

Get it returned if its not working...end of the world or not its better off in your pocket than theirs :thumbsup:

if your handy with a soldering iron you can add a resistor and a couple of isolation capacitors and it will work fine.

Quick update.....got proper Aux lead from Fruity Car Cables and is works a treat!
