It's the Lighting Control Module (LCM) that controls the indicators. It's actually part of the light switch assembly - However who told you it was faulty? I've had a couple of cars where this has been diagnosed as the fault, and it turned out to be something much simpler and cheaper..

the indicator light has 2 bulbs - mine started flashing faster because one of the bulbs had blown.
It was a right PITA to fit for the first time.

Whereabouts are you?

Who told you it was the "body control unit" because on these cars that's not what controls the lights. Without a proper diagnosis, you are on an expensive route...

The LCM also stores vehicle mileage so if you replace it you get a tamper dot on the dash :x

Not if it's re-coded properly :)
