Thought for a while my Z was haunted as I have come out to the car on occasions to find the drivers window dropped about 10mm. Couldnt see any pattern and for a while thought I might have just not raised the window fully.
Tonight I saw it happen! As I opened the door when the glass should have dropped 2/3mm or so to unseal it from the hood, it sounded more or less as normal but dropped 10mm and didnt return when I closed the door. Had to put the ignition on and raise the window on the switch. Then opened the door again and had just the unsealing and the glass returned to fully raised when the door closed.
Has anyone had this issue? If not any ideas how to start to resolve it.
Ran a routine quick check for error codes with DIS/GT1 a couple of weeks ago and saw an error code relating to window anti trap, cleared the code and it didnt return, could this be a pointer? Will run DIS/GT1 again this weekend to see if its returned.
