DSC sensor issue
Sorry if this is another DSC sensor problem but don't want to spend money on sensors if it isn't. Lights on dash and read codes with inpa and it comes up with sensors 1&2 , tried clearing codes but they just come straight back. The sensors look like they are working on inpa but not sure what the readings are on right side in the red. This was with brake pedal pushed right down.
Anybody have any idea?

A trick I learned on another forum was to before doing anything else, just open the sensors’ connectors and the block connector the wires run to and blast them with some air, reset codes. Cured my dsc errors a couple of years ago (touching wood…).

Thanks for reply, should of said already blasted connectors with IPA so don't think it's that. It's the readings on the right in the red that are confusing me??

Are you pressing the brakes when you took the picture?

Had a code for no1 brake pressure sensor on my 2.5 had dsc, handbrake light on the dash and sport button inhibited. Looked at live data from the sensors using Creator310+ both appeared to be working ok however code could not be cleared. Fitted a £12 sensor from eBay, code cleared and did not return no lights and sport button back to normal.

was unsure whether to use the cheap eBay sensors or not, looks like you've answered my question lolcolb wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 7:20 pm Had a code for no1 brake pressure sensor on my 2.5 had dsc, handbrake light on the dash and sport button inhibited. Check break fluid, if it looks like rusty old water, it's time to change fluid. If break fluid looks fine, you can recalibrate DSC sensors in INPA if memory serves me right. Then take the car out for a drive the sensors will recalibrate themselfs, so the offset should be fine. Is the car giving any strange errors about the DSC, ABS or whatever?
If indeed one of the sensors is buggered, get 2 new ones off Ebay, replace both. Why... well... better safe then sorry and they are not expensive.

Brake fluid fine, it's at correct level and it's nice and clear. Only 2 orange lights come up as in photo. Will probably just buy a couple of eBay ones and go from there.DanielS wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 7:39 pm Check break fluid, if it looks like rusty old water, it's time to change fluid. Did you fit the sensors yourself, if so can you do it without having to bleed the system?colb wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 7:20 pm Had a code for no1 brake pressure sensor on my 2.5 had dsc, handbrake light on the dash and sport button inhibited. Yes if your quick put a plastic bag under the reservoir cap so it seals the system then with replacement sensor ready unscrew the old one and immediately put the new one in you may get a drop of fluid leak but not enough to require bleeding the system do one at a time if replacing both.
