Relay locations
Afternoon all
I need to check my relays (not the ones in the engine bay)
I can see a cluster of 5 or 6 behind the fuses in the passenger footwell (near the GM5 module) but I am not clear where the others are- do I need to disassemble the glovebox?
Cheers

I thought there were 3 locations for relays-
1) engine
2) the ones I can see near GM5
3) ??

I’d seen that before- still can’t figure it
If I’m reading this
Passenger side behind glovebox?
Then it goes a bit hazy- hence me asking if I need to strip the glovebox out more?

Found them!
Behind the fuse panel, up by the GM5 module
Now according to this I am missing a relay- I think, as referenced by Rob above as the K6304a
BUT
Should my car have that relay- would it be fitted with a secondary air pump?
I know I'm shooting in the dark but I am just trying to find the root issue with my aircon issue

Relay locations
Thanks again for your help. I need to investigate further, now I know where the relays are located.
It's been a saga, but my son's car refuses to start, having replaced the starter motor. At least is does now turn over/crank!
I suspect it may be the crank sensor at fault... If so, would this result in no fuel being pumped, and/or no spark at plugs?

I’d imagine so
I’ve not had anything to do with CPS on z4- only m20 engine on an e30
It had worn as it was rubbing on a pulley
Worth a check but I guess it would stop ignition
