In order for someone to help, they need to know what's actually wrong!

1) Have you checked your wiring? - Can you provide pics?
2) Is your model Xenon or Halogens as STANDARD, and are the new headlights halogen? (Most aftermarket ones are halogen only)
3) Have you coded them in? - Did you use ISTA? INPA? Or Carly?
4) Are you 100% sure the lights were working beforehand.

I'll leave it there to start

2. Those look like the sonar angel eyes ones. So will be halogen...

Probably better off making your own thread in e85/86 problems section...

yes, sorry, you're right, I forgot to put the parameters. Then;
1) the wiring has been checked by two electricians so it's right.
2) the front headlights are aftermarket with angeleye and halogens
3) I have not codified them because I can not find anyone able to do it! also in Bmw they rejected me as they were not the native E85 headlights.
4) now I do not know if the headlights work because the electricians have done a lot of tests but I'm willing to change them.
5) The biggest problem is that the LED headlights behind turning on the position also lights me a little stop.
I'm from Malonno in Vallecamonica (Brescia) and I absolutely need someone to codify the control unit. I have a 3.0 of 2003.

When you say they do not work, do neither of the lights illuminate at all? Or do you have some bulbs with light and others that do not?

I've got a R53 xenon and plugged halogens in, and everything worked fine. So I'm sure the e85 will be the same or at least very similar. Are the front lights second hand? The electricians have confirmed that the units themselves are working?

Rear lights if wired up correctly will light up but give the "T" effect. But they should still light up and function... Are you sure you swapped the wires around for the rear lights? It will not be plug and play, some cables need to be swapped round.

Hello Orion can I know where you got the headlights you have in your signature?
I took these but I'm afraid that with all the evidence that the electricians have made themselves corrupt.

WOW! you are fantastic!
You left us a finger though! I do not have your skills so I do not even try. The headlights I bought I can not make them work well.
I wanted to change them.

Give him a shout perhaps, I'm not sure how he did his lights. I don't think they're off-the-shelf aftermarket but I could be wrong

I’m often left in awe at the creativity of what so many do on this forum, inspired by our many founding father modder’s such as cj10jeeper & others... all subliminally saying ‘I dare you to do better’.

One of my favourite parts of the pre-facelift E85 was its rear lights, I felt & still feel that original design is the best, so much so had I not wanted to keep my //M visually originally, I might have changed mine back to the older style, de French Frying them in the process.

Interesting, as I've never been a fan of the pre-facelift rear lights! I was really lucky to find a genuinely nice guy on here who was selling an M rear bumper complete with facelift lights 8)

For me, the point of the bumper wasn't because I'm trying to make an M, I just much prefer the Quad Exhaust look, and the M facelift rear bumper was easiest route. Then bought Quad Exhaust from Machine Monkey

I believe it is right to keep the project of 2003 but it is also right to get old with the new headlights. It goes to taste, both are fine. Of course if I had known that once put in front of the aftermarket headlights and ditro the original led worked bad everything I would never have done!

half... bro, it’s likely you’ll keep working on it, and, sometime in the future you or someone else will come up with a new revolutionary solution that’s better than what’s gone before, you just don’t know it yet.

Consider the cruise retrofit on a //M never never land story: for over +10 years all I ever heard was:
- it’s almost impossible & certainly not cost effective
- requires coding
- requires new throttle body & revised ECU
- the wiring is totally different & not compatible
- whoever got it done by BMW had their wallet bent over a barrel
... & then enlightenment, with one extra wire connected to an unconnected wire in the ECU & a standard cruise loom, sorted simply & effectively by the FF’s ;@)

Good hunting
