Hi Great Tutorial,
Just a few points for coupe owners. Put the headrests back in the seat before you bolt the seat down or you will have to unbolt again as there's not enough head room to feed the headrest into the seat back (you need to tilt the whole seat assembly), but make sure you attach the seat belt through the shoulder guide as its a lot harder to do with the headrest fitted and you could easily damage the headrest leather.
Also, a point on disconnecting the battery on the coupe, make sure you leave the boot open as there is no manual override on the boot lock.

I am going to be removing my seats this weekend and I wanted to know can I leave the passenger one out for a few days as i'm giving the carpets a good clean amongst other things. Would I get the airbag light come on driving round with the connector not connected to the seat once I reconnect the battery up?

One small problem. I followed this post to pull my drivers side seat today and it worked well! Only problem is now the top won't go up. The button just flashes with very little action. You can hear the windows start down and then, nothing. Could it have to do with the battery disconnect? Should I disassemble and then reassemble the unde seat electrical connection? The top was down while I was working on the seat.
Many thanks. - Buzz

To close out my own post, I had the windows down along with the top when I had the problem. I found that when I cycled the windows up and down from the switches on the door, the system worked again. I can only assume the system needed to know the position of the Windows and by cycling them back and forth, it got the data it needed.

Thanks for this - took out the passenger seat today for a clean underneath (and to help get some moisture out of the car). Worked perfectly. Will do the driver's seat when I get some time.

1st post and I know I'm a couple of years late but what a great guide.
Took 20 minutes from start to finish with no hiccups.
Had to remove the seat to fix the back cover.
Thanks for the help!

This is a great guide and I’m about to switch my seats over to black leather heated seats. Is there anyway I can seat the photos or have they disappeared to the the age of the post?

Many thanks
