Actually your right. Compare that shot in your post and your signature picture. No comparison. The present coupe looks so much nicer in design!senwar wrote:
It really looks like a mismash of cars to me. Perhaps its not the best colour, but nope, just not for me yet.

what the hell is going on with the rear z4 badge, it looks like its in the wrong place ! too high up......it also looks like a comfy cruiser designed for the amercian market rather than a sports car. i like the front, not so keen on the back end.

Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong, taken a beautiful car and made it goddamn ugly!! No wonder everyones jumping ship to Audi, BMW design bods have lost all idea of what is aesthetically pleasing!! Ruined the 3, the 5, the 7 and now the only one left that I liked been made over into a hideous incarnation. I'll take the engine hell yeah, but you can keep that hideous body!!

Re: Few new E89 pics
I think it's lost its fun side, looks like too much of a car to cruise in rather than blat about. Kind of like a smart old mans car (Jaguar) melted in to the Z4 creating this. Sometimes I catch myself liking it for what it is but I don't think it's as nice as the current Z4. I need to see one in the flesh I think, wonder if they'll get one on Top Gear?

The more I see it the more I don't like it, it just doesn't work, it's just wrong, wrong, wrong. 18 months before a badly needed facelift
