Hi Steve
All though not a fan of white cars generally, your does look fantastic, really like the stance and minor modifications that you have carried out.
Definitely better with the white mirrors although I still like the old 326 wheels in your early pictures, (we all have our preferences and I am a bit of an old git in this respect)
My wife has a 2010 3.0M in red and I would love to modify it a bit when/if I can get her approval.
Can you confirm how you achieved the front and back levels/stance and what effect the revised suspension has had on handling and harshness of the ride.
I like the idea of doing the wing indicators in body colour red (copying your idea) but not sure what prep is required prior to painting, on either the chrome or black units.
We have the s drive but as Sarah drives round at 1000 to 2000 rpm the car changes gear far to early and throttle response is dreadful, in sports mode it is like an on/off switch. May try and see if I can do a reset and see if this improves things.
Dave
Thanks!
Yes I loved the 326’s (only wheel I wanted when originally buying!). It’s a shame they’re so prone to cracking!
I swapped the run flats for normal tyres, 235/35 front and 255/35 rear and I have H&R front springs and Eibach rear springs.
It feels the same as when I had the runflats on to be honest however, it handles so much better. I wasn’t overly impressed with the amount of roll you get with the M Sport pack. It was like having the worst combo... harshness from run flats but loads of roll!
Mine is now still firm but no harsher than run flats but it remains perfectly flat through corners.
I have the ZF 8 speed box, it’s an absolute peach to be honest and it just does what you want it to do! My first automatic car and I can’t see me wanting a manual again for my everyday car!
