I really don't get that with a modern car :? its never going to be a classic so if you don't drive its pretty pointless having it

This ^^^^

It may not be Kingfishers intention but I made the same mistake with my new 35is, I kept it mint and low miles just for someone else to benefit. Big mistake. The Boxster will get used as much as possible. :driving:

All those cars of Titantims that went back barely used  utterly pointless ownership of benefit only to whoever bought them next

Indeed a 12 plate 77k 3.0i navspec Msport for £10k is far from expensive , just a sign of the times with too few buyers for too many cars .

Rubbish, I've had mine now for 4years and its done less than 8 thousand miles, it sits in the garage all winter and only used as a second car in the summer for pleasure, but its a thing called pride of ownership, come spring its like having a new car not having used it for months and the feeling I get from the ownership experience is anything but pointless, I don't have to drive thousands of miles a year to get that. :x

Fair enough , if that works for you but doesn't change my opinion :( i see no logical reason with any E89 not to run it all year round

I agree with Mr Wilks. Drive it all year and enjoy it all of the time and not just for a few outings. It gets to the stage people are scared to take them out if it's wet! I run mine all year and enjoy it all year. It's regularly maintained, washed and waxed and looks a lot younger than its years. Don't see the point of only bringing it out for sunny days. Roof down as long as it's dry :driving: Lifes too short to fanny about.
