Fully loaded (pro nav, heated and electric seats, Wind Deflector, heated steering wheel, PDC, internal and external mirrors, comfort pack ....) one owner example with 109k miles and zero advisory MOT history for £15k - what do we think of that?

Mileage is no guarantee of condition, some of the higher mile cars have actually been the better ones. Would I pay £15k for it, not a chance.

Prices are currently over inflated but for 2 or 3K more you could get something with much lower miles but not necessarily better condition, the problem would be when you sell it, would be very difficult to get rid of IMO. I'd say thats at least £3k over what its worth personally and more than I paid for my 2010 car with 50k miles albeit in October last year

It s done 109k miles , what mileage does it have to be to get into the highet mile cars? (ok I had to read it again)
Impressive to get to that mileage with no advisories so if car owner doesn't have his own MOT test garage I would be tempted to go and have a look. He could work for BMW, who knows. Still overpriced but its had all the usual faults sorted(fuel pump, adaptive dampers , injectors, engine oil leaks ,proper roof maintenance, etc etc.
If as drives as good as appears to be may be worth a punt at nearer to £13k. Depends what else is on the marker at the time.
Heres a lower mileage one on autotrader less than 60k miles only 35i but has adaptive suspension same money
£14995 same blue+ ream leather etc.

Mileage perception is interesting, mine might be considered high at 79.5k for 2010. But if a car is properly maintained and has some of the regulars replaced, ie I’ve replaced the adaptive dampers on mine a year or so back, is there an issue. A car with higher mileage has more likely done decent journeys, rather than short trips to the local shops, in which case the less “damage” is likely to be done on the longer trips. Anyway contemplating selling mine.

^^^This.
My missus' 1 series has 12000 on it over three years from new (PCP). It has done almost every one of those miles in heavy, stop/start traffic. My 535 has done almost all of its miles 63000 miles on the Motorway/A roads.

My car is 14k and five years old.
I can honestly say it’s never been started unless it’s going to reach full temp on a run- it’s never done a run to the shops in it’s life.

The low miles are the product of it being a summer only / Euro trip car.

So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

We had a three year old 208GTi with 20K on it when we sent it back - all of those miles in city traffic, my 3008 had 50k motorway miles, I know which one I would buy

I sometimes wonder if cars should display how many times the engine has been started - that might be a more useful indicator of engine wear than total mileage...

Mines 12 years old this year with 34k, I never take it just to the shops (got a small car thats willing to sacrifice itself for car park dings and kamikaze grannies with shopping trolleys etc.) Normally take the Z out over the weekend for a run or just for fun, luckily its all countryside and motorways round here. The oil and brake fluid get changed regularly and I find having it garaged really helps.

My zed is used sparingly, sunny days for trip out normally at least 50 miles, have a Corsa for the daily local stuff, work mileage is virtually zero still

Mine gets used at every opportunity. Can't stand just seeing it sitting there when I could be driving it.

Still only has 46K and 7 years old.

At 5 years old you shouldn’t be driving at all.
