We have a watch on ///M cars & 3.0 Coupes so why not the 89s ?
Some are looking terrific value for those running Si's but ready for a change of Z without shredding the wallet
Recently a forum 09 Havana 2.3i 95k /sport seats went for £8500
By comparison a 3.0i on 60k/sport spec currently stand around the £12k mark
So feel free to throw on here any cars you find take your eye in the classifieds
I'l start you off with what could be a nice example but imo ruined with blacking the roof & mirrors
If blacked grills & alloys then maybe but sorry  that's a fail :(
media

otherwise nice colour combo , decent miles , BBS split 18s & all important sport seats for £10k driveaway ?

Had mine on auto trader for 14k full BMW history only 34000 miles and not one phone call :( have accepted less now in part exchange from BMW as I have gone for a M135i although I got a good deal on that. Such a shame as would have been a great car for somebody. Maybe I should offer it to the forum for 13k? But they will have to be quick as I pick up new car on Tuesday!

89s do seem to stand & i watched certain cars for 2-3 months whilst i was looking
I don't doubt yours is a good example but if you have been offered over £13k trade in i don't think that's too crazy for a 59 3.0i even with lowish miles
Good luck with the 1er

I dread to think what mine is worth ( according to my wife I'm the most useless and impulsive buyer and sales can smell me a mile away) nevertheless all the motors I bought have ran sweet and many years of reliable service, I bought mine AUC back in April 2016 for £15k ... a 73k Mar 2010 sDrive 23i, comfort pack, DSB with Ivory nappa, auto, 18 inch split rims, at the time looking at Internet it was the only spec I liked bar stock speakers only... Since then upgraded the sound, added lux Angels stubby ariel and LCI side indicators ... So far fingers crossed running without a hitch, I do lurk around now and find the odd bargain M-Sport that I think damn if only I waited lol but you only live once after all ! :)

Here's my pride and joy now, prob drop a fair few thousand if I sold it now, but it's a long term keeper anyway ...will post a few bargain E89s if I find anything interesting ....image.jpeg

You must have one of the very last 135. The order we have in for one has been automatically converted to a 140, although the collection date was moved from next week to a month later.

Only 17 35i's currently on Piston Heads, four actually listed as sold and one a cat D, so hopefully they'll maintain their premium a little more, we'll at least until we sell our one later in the year

This one's interesting, apparently it's very rare as it comes with matching nail varnish  At least the hands look cleaner than the car's bodywork.

I saw this one on AT and thought WTF with that pic?!?!?

I then saw the 'boxing glove' hanging from the rear view mirror and I kind of had the image/thought that this car is a 'wide boys' car, thrown about a bit, not really looked after possibly and more of an image thing for him.

Anyway, I knew it wasn't for me and my search continues..........

I advertised my sDrive 3.0i (59) last year, for which i thought was a reasonable price compared to dealer prices, around Sept last year.

I had one guy who said he'd come and have a look, no show. A car dealer wanted to sell it on commission (checked them out and wouldn't trust them with a dinky toy) Then a buyer for Sytner offered £15K. So with Autumn coming decided to leave it till this year.

I suppose what I'm trying to say is, surprised at the lack of interest in a great car with only 15,600 miles under it's tyres.

Bet TVR's happy with that upgrade.

Yes, it has the 7 series tiled Satnav now with touch screen, 20-odd HP more power (340), wifi. And still the 20% discount we negotiated on the original price. Those are the headline changes I can remember.

But we are going off-topic here

So summer approaches yet the 89s still taking a while to shift
Had this one on my radar some 2 months ago up at £13k then iirc :?
Much less now but still too much for the market otherwise it would be gone (wheel finish possibly shrinking the sellers market ? )
Would make a good foot in the 89 camp at £10k but no more than £10500 as £11k sees Msport spec cars

Where did you get the chrome surrounds on the side repeater indicators? Are they the same as 2013 model?
