I wish you hadn’t remedied it I slated that car and advert at £16k, then again at £18k but WTAF £20k for a POORLY spec’d 35i with a lazy p!sh advertOle gits rule wrote: ↑Sun Jun 13, 2021 6:01 pmThats because I have a Mac at home and a bloody windows laptop for work so copy n paste are different - does my head in as well.Argyll Andy wrote: ↑Sun Jun 13, 2021 9:52 amThere’s no bloody link…….. againOle gits rule wrote: ↑Sun Jun 13, 2021 8:32 am Not that I am aware - it was £16k originally then went to £18k now at £20k - next move £22k if it doesn't shift

What’s the delivery times of a well specced m40i - any ideas?

Ron, there’s only 10 unregistered G29’s in the U.K. and only one of them is an M40i.

I think if you’re walking into a dealer today I think it’s about a 10 week turnaround unless they can do a bit of horse trading like mine and swap build slots for something else.
Your problem may be how quickly your own may sell compared to how long you may need to wait for another. You may find yourself in the same position as a few of us currently are, Zedless

It concerns me that - I sell mine after a dealership promises a delivery of my choice M40i and then comes out with the sorry but line / sob story “ but we can get you a nice 2.0”
I can happily live with my old banger so a change is whim at the moment and would hinge on offers and availability etc
It’s up to 13,700 miles now - soon to be worn out

MY understanding of this Ron is once they lock you into a build slot that’s it. The M40i’s are built somewhere differently so that’s why getting the build slot means it will be for an M40i.ronk wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 11:22 am It concerns me that - I sell mine after a dealership promises a delivery of my choice M40i and then comes out with the sorry but line / sob story “ but we can get you a nice 2.0”

I’ve just received the paperwork for mine so will need to speak to the dealers today/tomorrow so I’ll ask about a locked in build slot and see what he says
Yes, you’ll need to keep those miles down and not devalue your car overnight I get the sense you may be getting your inbox tickled with an offer or two for your 35iS

What's the catch? There has to be one at that money.
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.
