Last weekend mine was exactly 1 year old, and I still love everything about it.

Looks nice. Still not sure about the M bumper to be honest. They should have kept those reflectors down low.

I notice the M sport kitted cars (not the 35is) have the lower section of the rear bumper blacked out. Looks so much better. I can't understand why they didn't do this to the 35is bumper!

Back looks really clean without Z4 badge and like the wheels too.

I chose model designation deletion.

Good choice! First thing I did to mine was take that Z4 badge off the rear. Just looked a bit "Halfords"!!

now checking Vehicle Replacement Insurance (VRI) on car2cover. BMW VRI only covers 3 years (£25,000) for £499.

Yes I've been looking at car2cover, it's seems better value than the BMW VRI

I bought the VRI £25k limit for £359 last night (I was worried my new car would disappear when I got up this morning )

I bought the old one from them, and got good discount on the new one. It took less than 1 month from putting deposit down to delivery.

Carbon aluminium trim is not as good as I first thought (brushed aluminium may be better).

What's wrong with it Ksher? There is an M Sport in the showroom near me but it's on a revolving floor so I can't sit in it yet.

It looks like cheap plastic sport trim on other normal hatchback. You only know it is real aluminium when you touch it. Dark wood trim on Breaker/Kryton's car may probably looks better than carbon aluminium trim. I need to spend more time inside the car and feel it.

That's a cracking colour, congrats on the new car

The front end looks are growing on me - nice and aggressive with that bumper (shades of the E85/86 Z4M) - but it's going to take longer for me to really fall for the looks overall.
