Black, black and black.

Post by canning83 » Sat Nov 21, 2009 7:48 pm

Hi.

I'm new to this site so hope this is in the right section.

I've just bought a new s35 (black) with the 7-speed auto. I'm thinking of making the exterior completely black: Black BMW badges, black grills etc etc. I saw a new style M3 with the same and its looks amazing. Has anybody seen a similar new style Z4? If so - does anyone have any pics.

Also - I am going to paint the wheels black but want it professionally done. Does anybody know the best place to get this down. I am currently in London but regularly drive to Yorkshire.

Thanks a lot.

Late on in this link there are some pics of black z4s with black wheels and I have pics somewhere on another computer of one with black kidney grilles. If you PM me I will see if I can find them.

If you are regularly near Bradford try Kahn Design who are capable of most bespoke mods or will be able to refer you. I'm sure they have agents or associated companies in London but, all things being equal, Yorkshire services should prove cheaper. If nothing else, I can vouch for their quality.

Thanks for the info.

I'll get on the phone to Kahn and see what they say.

Ive also heard BMW dealerships may be able to spray the wheels.

I'll post some pics when I'm done.

Thanks a lot.

Hopefully, here are two pics:

and

and if you are really, really serious about being black, eisenmann do a full black exhaust back box and tailpipe

and it's possible to spray your lights to look like these side repeaters:

To have your existing wheels done, Google "Wheel Powder Coating"
