BMW Insured Warranty do it on mileage - up to 100,000 - and not age, don't they?

It'd definitely get the warranty if I had one.

Thought you were keeping the “yellow peril”, looks like you’ve got an inch that you feel you need to scratch?

How many miles is on that 35iS for it to be that cheap? Mine with 75k is looking at +1k
Also I couldn't find anything covering the expensive adaptive suspension in the cover document.

Need some bhp..300 ish is enough , torque I need 450nm ish …if I can get it from the yellow peril..if not then..not impressed with the way the 35i handle but 300bhp options in Zeds are limited..maybe an SLK…maybe call it a day..pissed off with spending lots of money n time to get nowhere..I do have a couple of plans…need to see if the new O2 sensors fix the issue…

If you don't like the way an extra 50kg over the front wheels makes the 35i handle then you're not going to enjoy the SLK
The problem you're having is one of the downsides of tuning cars. Some engines have more potential than others before you start to run into issues but the further you go from the factory power levels the more headaches it creates. That's why with any of these 1000hp tuner cars the engine bay and cabin are filled with gauges and switches to control auxiliary fuel pumps and external boost controllers and you spend more time fixing things than driving.

RE 92…I was probably being facetious on the SLK…some are very pretty..the AMG version looks like a line of logic of if a w5is is nose heavy and powerful then an AMG is…R.E92 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 11:31 pm If you don't like the way an extra 50kg over the front wheels makes the 35i handle then you're not going to enjoy the SLK

I now realise that ‘going off piste’ with tuning is a matter of my own doing…
The issue for me is that there is a smaller body of support / tools/‘ expertise for the N20 especially in the E89 than the N54 in the E89….
Given the emotional / economic hits involved for me ‘swapping out’ my E89 N20 the cost ‘ effort to sort things out suggests carrying on…
Difficult when you’ve spent 5 long days doing some upgrades for zero apparent effect..
Hopefully the O2 sensor will do something…

Well someone has to be the first to strip off all the roof gubbins. That'll get the weight down a bit.Pbondar wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 9:27 pmNeed some bhp..300 ish is enough , torque I need 450nm ish …if I can get it from the yellow peril..if not then..not impressed with the way the 35i handle but 300bhp options in Zeds are limited..maybe an SLK…maybe call it a day..pissed off with spending lots of money n time to get nowhere..I do have a couple of plans…need to see if the new O2 sensors fix the issue…
