Replacement mesh for wind deflector?

Post by guitargibb » Sat Jul 17, 2021 9:56 am

Can anyone help?

I’ve somehow managed to tear a hole in the mesh on my E89 wind deflector and wondered if anyone has any idea if it’s possible to just buy this without having to get the whole wind deflector? (& how easy is it to fit?)

I read on a recent post (might not have been here though) that someone had got quite a bit of the material and had some spare but can’t seem to find the post any more.

Thanks in advance!

Brilliant, thanks for the info, will have a look into it, it doesn’t look like particularly stretchy material like the original but if I can’t get OEM at a reasonable price, it’s a cheap enough alternative👍

You can buy it here, but thanks to those savvy brexiteers, it has now doubled in price! It used to be about £26inc postage I think.
