Maybe Im not looking at it right but I cant see where those clips will go? To me it just looks like they would be sitting in a void

To me it just clips to the bumper itself, a bit like the non-lci side indicators, they just clip onto the wing.mr.tourette wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 6:37 pmMaybe Im not looking at it right but I cant see where those clips will go? To me it just looks like they would be sitting in a void

It would be good to see a pic of the reflectors next to or in the hole to see if anything else is needed.

Ok, just been out and had a look under the bumper on exhaust side.. you can definitely see a black plastic fitting it clips into also should have metallic tangs on the 2 big clips to secure it into the fitting

From the pic supplied then someone has cut out the back of the recess for the clips to hold onto.

Emailed previous owner yesterday about them, he said he liked the look with no reflectors and a gaping hole.

I was wondering how it passed the MOT like that, but having looked at mine again, there are reflectors on the outside of the rear light clusters (presumably more for the US market) which could make it legal without the embedded rear bumper ones, as these are visible from behind. All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

Perhaps you could put some black mesh over the holes.boyabouttown wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 8:36 pm Yep, though to be honest it doesn't bother me, i just don't want to give plod a reason to pull me, or fail an mot.
I wonder if it would reduce swelling in the bumper, and increase it’s aerodynamic efficiency. If so, is a cool mod! Haha
