Aftermarket Paddles

Post by Marcoose » Sun Jun 20, 2021 11:41 pm

Hey, everyone.

My steering wheel has arrived in the UK for reshape with Control Customs. I'd like to add longer paddles to the wheel, especially on the lower side. Control don't do that. Can you please recomend aftermarket paddles? Below is the steering wheel stock.

Thanks.

Marc

I have seen some nice paddle extensions on ali express etc. The simply fix to the back of the existing paddle with those super tough 3M sticky pads.. Sure you can find them if you look for a while

Yeah, I've seen those stick-on paddles. I'm looking for nice aftermarket paddles to replace the OEM.

Is your cup holder in the picture after market or OEM in US Marcoose?

I reckon it’s OEM because it matches the photos on the manual. I can check if it has the BMW logo, OEM part number, etc. It was there when I’ve purchased the Zed.

Mark, all OEM, I tried about a year ago with a European seller to get info on fittings etc and it just won’t work on rhd cars, even if back to front. Only fits on drivers side and would foul your leg iirc

G29 M40i Thundernight with Ivory interior, all option packs (here for a while, hopefully )
G29 M40i Misano Blue all option packs (Gone 26k of fun)
E89 35iS, Valencia Orange, Design Pure Traction pack (Gone)
    E89 23i sDrive, Silver (Gone)

Do you know for sure that they fit the E89? Does not state that in the ad!

Thanks, John. Not cheap, but better looking than stick-on. Please do confirm if they fit the E89. My steering wheel in the UK right now. I could have the paddles delivered to Control Customs, and then all posted together back to America. Thanks again.

John, if I may add to your enquiry, my steering wheel is a ‘facelift’ model. Thanks.

Curious about this as well. Those look real nice, and I also have a facelift E89. Not sure what it would cost me in USD + shipping over here though.

There are others out there, not sure about e89 though. Definitely an improvement.

[/quote]They are £200 on ML UK, thats not an offer in my language!
I have messaged them with my VIN for compatibility, they list under E89 but the product description does nt mention E89 at all.
