E89 Production Numbers

Post by LordLolzeye » Sun Jun 06, 2021 12:04 pm

Hey,

I've been playing a little bit with ETK and wanted to get the production numbers for E89.

Image

+ note: I checked on wiki, there should be around 118k Z4's out there, I've gotten around 116k from ETK.. so there might be some small mistakes here and there :)

Blimey if there were only 922 35is RHD made, I think ALL of them have been for sale on here in the past six months
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

They also produced only one 29i RHD, similar to a 28i, but still an N20.

+ edit I've just realised that the rarest Z4 is the 18i lol

Surprised by the low number of RHD 35is... How Many Left reckons there are over 400 in the UK alone, so that would make only 500 in total across the likes of India, Australia, NZ, Japan and South Africa (plus a few more).

If you ask me, we should all invest in 18i's since they are the rarest (LHD+RHD) lol

Around 800 according to HML, where did you get your numbers from?

Only 200 or so more of the LM52 3.0 in rhd.
Interesting stats, thanks
I might keep it a while longer in that case especially as I've gone past the mid life crisis age :)
Hang on, I've just googled mlc and it's 45-65 so I'm in the middle of mid life, who'd have thought?

It’s part of a project i’m working on. I had to retrieve a lot of info from ETK (via SQL queries, etc.), I had an ideea on how to count the production numbers for each vehicle and I just tested it out :)

Might be a dumb question ( I am good at those :D ) but why are there generally 2 versions of the LHD car and only one of the RHD, e.g. what’s the difference between a 30i LM51 and LM53?
