Just wondering is it possible to upgrade 2009 e89 idrive system to include BMW personal assistant. Info claims car is not equipped and to contact BMW dealer.

In simple terms no..there were at least two major revisions to the idrive system over its life in the E89…it’s not practical to upgrade them sadly..
