Yes I agree. I reckon I have two options with this: either don't mention it, or market it as a "de-restriction" (which essentially it is) remap to unleash the full power of the N20. I am wary of re-mapped cars too, so need to tread carefully with the advertising.
I will have to do some more sums and see whether it is worth changing to a six pot. As my wife logically pointed out "what's the point in having a more expensive identical car sitting in the garage when we don't use the one we've got?" I am struggling to argue with that!

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

I went down the "it's an investment dear; these cars are going up in value" route

Anyway; are you now buying a car a week? :D

You'll probably be selling your G29 first; then buying a 2CV for a week! :poke:

If your really worried about the dent then try and buy this, way cheaper than getting someone to repair yours: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/194147149470 ... SwtW1gP6KQ

Thanks, that is really cheap! TBH I really don't want the aggro of changing bodywork bits, though. I might try the heat gun method and if I cock it up or crack the plastic, then a new valance it will have to be.

Be careful, there's only one expression women use that's worse and that's "fine"
