Help With European Part

Post by RobbiZ4 » Thu May 20, 2021 4:21 pm

These parts are incredibly expensive! :o :o :o :headbang:

PartNo: 51169139099,2051169139100
https://ekrisbmwshop.de/de/suchen-nach- ... 1169139100

Update:
It seems to be a bit more complicated. The exact car type and prod. year is required.

Interstingly there are much more options available for an Z4 18i

Well, I'm pretty sure that you should be able to order the correct part numbers "51169139099,2051169139100" even in the US. The differences are explained in the above diagram.

Help With European Part

Post by Marcoose » Thu May 20, 2021 5:15 pm

Thanks, Robbi. It's a 2016 35is N54 assembled in April 2016. But I'm pretty sure the visor remained the same for all years, for as long as it's black 'leather'.

Oh, no, I'm not going to buy a visor for 500 euros. Mamma raised only half a fool. Used in mint condition they cost 50 euros.

Sadly, local sellers, dealer, car parts, breakers, etc, only carry visors with stickers.

Just place a search order on eBay for these EU part numbers. There are several Z4 part sellers in UK, so be patient...

Thanks, Jason. During registration I used a London postal code and my own mobile in America. I hope that yields quotes for parts in the UK/EU. Thanks again.

I've found a pair that looks in good condition, in Lithuania. Cheap. 35 Euros. But they don't post to America or the UK. (Thank you, Brexit.) I'm checking if a friend or relative in the EU could receive and re-post to me.

Marcoose wrote: Thu May 20, 2021 1:03 pm The problem with Google is the results are ‘local’. Not only eBay. Everything. Junkyards, dealers, tuners, etc. I need an angel in Europe to search in Europe. I’m asking my family ... but it’s my family.
why don't you use a VPN that makes it look like you're browsing from the UK? I used to use one years ago so I could get Pandora even though I wasn't in the US.

Well grow some wings and fly to Lithuania and pick them up yourself. Then you don't have to blame Brexit (what that has to do with it?) If Lithuania doesn't post to the US, that's their problem.
You asked for advice, and you're getting advice, that's the great thing about this forum.

Bobby, if could check with your local parts shop, it’d be massively helpful. Thanks.

In Google search, settings you can change the search region. E.g I just changed mine to USA and searched for Z4 sun visors and all the results were USA based.

This will return international eBay results. Also in eBay you should change the filter to worldwide.

Thanks, Raj. Same, if you could check your fav parts shop, I’d really appreciate it. Some shops don’t post overseas. Thanks again.
