Stormshield cover, had mine at least 9 years now. Starting to tare around the mirrors now, so can't complain.

How practical in terms of ease of removal are these for daily use? Pbondar,

I’m considering one as I get all kinds of sap on my car & I’m paranoid about it messing up the roof mechanism as much as I am the paintwork

The other cars on the drive can cope with not being washed weekly but what with the Zed being new to me I’m still in that “new car phase”

I’m thinking lashing it down with rain & its 7.30am & I need to get out the house to work, then I get home & it’s still raining & I need to put the cover on.

Is it viable or do I stick to washing the car a lot?

Cutting down the trees is not a legal option unfortunately

It is problematic for a daily as you describe…

You can’t put the cover on over dirt n dust…

You can put it on over clean and wet surfaces but not the best option.

I think you are into a hybrid situation of leaving it out for a few days then wash and put its PJs on when you are not going to use it for a few days.

I’m fortunate mine is not a daily…so I sympathise with your issues..

I finally bit the bullet and ordered a Stormshield + Outdoor cover, certainly not cheap but needs must as back in to hospital next month. The Zed will be sitting around for 3 months while I recover, the battery will probably go flat... I do have a trickle charger but cant use it outside over that period.

Happy Zedding all.

If you are in a reasonable area security wise then leaving it unlocked will stretch the battery out if its fully charged to 3 months ish..

Hope things work out for you medical wise..

Do you have a neighbor or friend you trust who could come over once in awhile to put on charger?

Never been a fan of covers, any grit on your car and the wind will rub it against the car, they trap condensation as well in long wet periods.
Have alook a tone of these, far better idea if you have the space
